Parent Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Booking Cancellation Policy

    Once a booking request has been submitted, parents will be able to cancel up to 48 hours prior to the start of the booking with no penalties.

    • If cancelled within 48 hours, parents will be charged 50% of the net booking amount. However, gateway and administrative fees are non-refundable.
    • If cancelled within 24 hours, parents will be charged 100% of the booking amount which includes administrative and gateway fees.

    When bookings are cancelled, caregivers will receive 75% of the net booking amount as a courtesy for lost time. Care On the Way charges a 25% administrative fee on all cancelled bookings.

    If a booking has been submitted and accepted within 24 hours from the start of the booking and needs to be cancelled, send us a note and we will handle it in a manner that is satisfactory for both parties.

  • Booking Modification Policy

    Parents are eligible to modify a confirmed booking up to 48 hours in advance. A request will be sent to the caregiver for approval. Additional time added to the original booking will be paid to the caregiver at their hourly rate. Hours can only be added but not reduced.

  • Booking Refund Policy

    Care On the Way creates a hold transaction to the credit card 72 hours prior to the booking start time. We understand things come up, so once a booking request has been submitted, parents will be able to cancel up to 48 hours prior to the start of the booking with no penalties.

    • If cancelled within 48 hours, parents will be refunded 50% of the net booking amount. However, gateway and administrative fees are non-refundable.
    • If cancelled within 24 hours, parents will not be eligible to receive a refund which includes administrative and gateway fees.
  • Subscription Cancellation Policy

    You are free to cancel your subscription at any time. You will continue to have access to all the Care On the Way benefits until the end of your billing cycle.
